Elect Brian K. Veerkamp
for Board of Supervisors- District 3
As a former Fire Chief, former Board of Supervisor, and current EID District 3 Board Member, I have a proven track record of successful leadership. I have worked in the private sector, served El Dorado County residents for 30+ years in Fire Fighting/Public Emergency Services and Board of Supervisor. My involvement and commitment to public service includes 14 years as a member of the Camino Union School Board (President, 8 years), Rotary (Past President), County Water Agency Chair 7 years, Kiwanis, Marshall Hospital Foundation, and many community projects.
I am proud of my El Dorado County family heritage, dating back to the 1850’s. I attended El Dorado County schools and graduated from California State University, Sacramento, with a degree in Business Administration/Economics. Together with my wife of 40 years, Lori, we have raised two daughters and our family has expanded to include 2 sons-in-law and 4 grandchildren.
Throughout my personal and professional career, I have demonstrated that I am a person of integrity, strong moral values, knowledge of our county, personal and professional work experience, which has provided me the necessary leadership skills to serve as District III Supervisor. I have a history of getting things done, it would be my honor to work for you.
